Join our 2 part workshop series and learn how to think like a functional medicine physician.

Dr. Payrovi will describe how the autoimmune process unfolds using a holistic model that takes into account your unique life events, symptoms, and diagnoses.  You will then apply this information to begin creating your very own timeline of health and life events.

As you see patterns emerge, you will gain important clues to target the factors underlying autoimmunity.  You will then brainstorm what your unique path towards better health and how to implement key lifestyle routines to lessen the burden of autoimmunity.

Week 1: Identifying YOUR root causes of MS and autoimmunity

• Understand the holistic explanation of MS and autoimmunity from a functional medicine perspective
• Identify the conditions that uniquely set you up for autoimmunity, including predisposing factors and events that have driven forward the autoimmune process for you
• Work with your breakout group to begin creating a timeline to visualize the relationship between various life events and the onset and progression of your symptoms
• You will complete your timeline during the week and bring it to session 2 the following Tuesday

Week 2: Designing your unique path to healing MS and autoimmunity

• Solidify your understanding of how your personal “environment” contributes to autoimmunity
• Brainstorm personalized solutions to address YOUR main drivers of autoimmunity in breakout groups
• Leave with a clear plan to implement your unique path to improving the symptoms of MS and autoimmunity
